WA state has ridiculous gas taxes (along with CA) - the prices there are always more than the rest of us endure.

I should say that the above price is in IDAHO! Yes, WA is MORE. We go to Idaho to buy gas.

Our family just might have to go stand on the street corner now! Geesh!! We just paid $4.12 for diesel!! We could only afford $40 and didn't even get 10 gallons!
But I do have a praise to share, I will make a new topic to share it on the other board.

It is 3.24 here and it dropped over the weekend which is unusual because it usually goes up 25-50 cents.
something is going on. They want it low before the elections and then will probably raise it high. :(

We filled up for $3.179 per gallon Friday in Hot Springs, Arkansas. On our 2 hour drive there (and our 2 hour drive back) we saw prices as high as $3.589 per gallon - from the same gas station chain in the same state. Seriously?

Some of the local Chevron stations have started charging .10 more per gallon if you use a debit/credit card, rather than cash or their store card. I just bought gas a few days ago and it was $3.87 from Costco but at the Chevron near my house, it's $4.09 and was as much as $4.19 a week ago.

ON the other hand, Swifty gives you a 3cent/gallon discount for using cash instead of a credit card : )
