What internet security are you using?

Has to uninstall my Norton, do to malfunction.

Can't download an inexpensive one at the moment, but need something now.

What are you using?

And if you're using a freebie, would you mind sharing a link?

Since I have no protection at the moment, I dont wanna go around searching on the internet.

Sure would appreciate it!

I had Avast for a long time and it's good. I got the free year. Then when the year was up it wouldn't let me get it again.
It's great though. I just wish I could still get it! (I could if I paid for it, lol!)
I have Avira now.

The last time I took my computer in for service, they told me that a lot of viruses had gotten past McAfee, and they no longer recommend it. Their suggestion was Kaspersky. I told them I really couldn't budget for a new antivirus, so they installed Security Essentials. Their opinion: Kaspersky is the best; Security Essentials is the best freebie.

I strongly dislike McAfee! I tried to install it on my old computer (after having another brand previously), and before it was all done I had to reinstall the operating system to get the thing to work.

(I've never had to pay for Avast - we've had it several years, and it is what our computer guys recommend. So far, so good)
