I just listed a whole bunch of stuff on ebay, and the other day I put a bunch of stuff on the used boards. It feels GOOD to be making moves towards eliminating clutter and generating a few $$ too!! Now I can't wait for some things to sell. :0)

Oh, you know I love getting rid of stuff! I have spent the entire year decluttering...one room at a time, including the attic. When the whole house is done, I start the whole thing over!!! And I love making some $$ in the process.

It's time to go through my Christmas stuff again - the consignment shop begins taking Christmas items in either Oct or Nov...or both. I got rid of most of it last year, but need to go through it all again. I have a nice, hefty little account at the consignment shop, too! :D I like that part!

And it just feels good to get rid of the clutter and stuff. I still have more than I would like, but so much of it is gone!

I hope all your stuff sells soon!

LJ, that is the problem I keep facing: there is always more stuff! ;) We emptied a room last week so Rachel can have a dance room. It now has a ballet barre and a rack with the dresses she uses to make her dancing practice fun. If we ever move, that will be the best room to clear out! Today, I should have another decluttering project done, so more things out. When I get all the rooms done, I too shall be starting over again.

Martha, it is so nice when the extra stuff finds a new home, and if you can sell some of it it is nice. Hope all your books sell. :)

I always here people talk about having too much clutter. I guess I should feel blessed that my house is so empty then, lol.

Oh, I can't even go there  ....dh's stuff. BUT...he is starting to do his own decluttering of his spaces. I am proud of him. It's not easy to get rid of years and years of accumulated stuff. But I won't touch his stuff. I'll haul it off to Goodwill or the consignment shop, but he has to load it on the van for me! :D

Goooooooooooooooo Martha! Decluttering always clears the head and home and if you can increase the $ in your pocketbook, all the better!
; )

Do you use paypal for Ebay? Dh doesn't want me to use it since we were hacked earlier in the year.

My dc want to keep everything and we have no room for it all. It kind of makes me long for the day they'll move into their own place so they'll have to take all their junk with them!
I'll have more room that I know what to do with then.
(As long as I can refrain from filling it with books! lol! )
