that judge that swore him in was not a happy camper, you could tell by his face.
I saw that Mccain showed up when he said he would not, I knew they would all be liars .

Just watched some of the ceremony stuff for the inauguration. I enjoyed it but was glad it was recorded and we could fast-forward! LOL I can't compare it to others since we didn't have tv and didn't watch any of the others.

We watched ALL day today! From before 10 AM, as people were coming in until 5ish (when DD went to play) then I continued watching till about 7 (dinner) and caught a bit of the Ball this eve.

I am AMAZED at their energy. I was totally, totally stunned by how well his DC and DGC behaved thru it all. Some of those DGC are so tiny that I wouldn't trust them to be flower girls or ring bearers at a wedding, and yet, there they were, thru more than 12 hours of formalities - being the perfect little children. Reminds me of the Bible verse about Presbyters governing their own households well.

I also liked when Franklin Graham said that Rain is a Biblical sign of God's Blessing : )

He needs our prayers so that he can do this job right - it's too big a job for any one man to do alone!

I would have liked to see more of the parade. All the bands and military marching would have been good to see after all the formalities but they didn't show that stuff. After the vice prez got to the parade stand they cut it to news.

I really liked the First Lady's blue outfit!

I was just going to mention her blue outfit, also. She stood out, and in a GOOD way. But, why did no one help Mrs. Pence with her bra straps? LOL Well, at least i can relate to SOMEONE in that elegant party!

In Europe it's all the rage to let your ENTIRE bra show thru your clothes.

ACK! That's AWFUL! LOL I still think bra straps, (and yoga pants, and thin tank tops) are UNDERwear and should NOT be seen. At least she had on a black bra. Yes, the dress was lovely.
