LOL! I'm not sure my brain is functioning enough for me to get into something so deep.
Even the thought of a favorite font has me going.... errrrr........ ????

(I haven't even ventured to read the thread on common core yet...)

What is your favorite font?
I'm liking Open Sans lately.

What is the first thing that pops into your head when I say.... book?
Library

How do you prepare your car for winter? (Not just changing windshield fluid but maybe keeping a blanket in the car, etc.)
Umm, what?

When you sit down for a serious time of prayer, how do you begin?
Welll, for starters, ideally, I stand not sit. I cross myself and say, "In the name of the Father and of the Son and if the Holy Spirit, amen. Glory to Thee, O God, glory to Thee...." and go from there with the Trisagion prayers and then the Lord's Prayer.

Who is your favorite historical non-religious person. (They can be religious but you are interested in them for something other than their religious "pursuits".)
Helen Keller

You guys are stumped on the car thing? Hmmm. Snow tires, change the oil, change out the windshield washer fluid for minus temps, have a blanket or salt or boots ..... ???

Oh, Sis, I know that *other* *responsible* folk do those things. It's just that *I* don't! ; )

Seriously, tho - we use all weather tires - try to keep the windshield wiper fluid & oil changes done year round, always keep a rain poncho in the trunk & an extra change/layer of weather appropriate clothing or extra jacket & impulsively toss in a blanket on miserable days. Don't own boots right now. And, we're urban folk in a climate that *usually* has less snow & closer amenities than yours. Personally, I seldom leave home at all in bad weather!

:) Nice! I *love* having themes and seasons and new beginnings. That's what I love about these seasonal lists. You would think I'd be so very organized because I love this stuff so much. Somehow life gets in my way.

Thanks for posting it. :) Which ones might you do?

Well, when the time changes I DO try to check alarm batteries. And, I like the idea of switching the direction of the ceiling fan (who knows? I may even DUST the thing! ; )

We don't garden (don't have ANY land) and I don't touch the furnace. I suppose I might wash the mattress covers - eventually ; )
