One doc says now is the time, the other says wait. I will be going down the mountain tomorrow to assess the situation.

Also, there is another family matter I am not at liberty to discuss that really has me VERY concerned. A critical unspoken request that needs to be remedied soon.

I know God can handle all that is on my plate, so I'm choosing to give it to Him right now, trusting that His peace, presence, and faithfulness will once again prevail on all accounts.

Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Cindy, I would err on the side of the dr. who said the time is now. Call in Hospice and let them be the decider of if he is within their parameters of care. Better to have them say, well, he really does not meet our criteria and have them on the ready for when the time does arrive, then to wait and miss out on the good they could be providing if he is ready now.

Dad's officially on hospice now. Mostly just for additional care he requires at this time, not necessarily end of life care just yet. At least I know I have care in position when the time comes. The cardiologist encouraged me to supplement his care with hospice. Thanks for asking.
