The interview seemed to go very well. They want to make a decision by the end of the week if possible. They are going to start second interviews right away, so I will either get another interview or a call probably by Monday to say, thanks but no thanks.

They did ask me if they decided on another for the full time position, if I'd be open to a part time position (not sure what that would be). I said I'd be open to that as well. If the position/pay is right, it could even be better to be part time right now. Would take longer to get our debt paid off, but we'd be able to keep paying it down faster and we could more easily do out homeschooling and activities the way we want. If I got the full time position I'd be cover 2 full counties and part of a third. Most of the area is mountainous and I would really rather not be navigating mountain roads in the winter time. I figure whatever is decided is what the Lord decided was best for all involved.

Either way, I'm at peace about the out come. Thanks for all your prayers.

I got a letter in the mail with a "thank you, but..." which was okay with me. They found someone they think is a great fit, I don't have to change my education plan, it opened my heart and eyes to seriously finding ways to make some extra income either from home, or part time outside the home, or possibly both of those. Now to figure out what that is.

God knows, so I will do my due diligence and see where He leads. Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement my friends!

Sorry this one didn't work out. It did sound perfect. Of course, God has His reasons for these things, but it can still be hard to take.

(I was just looking over a very old job application packet of mine for a job. 20some years later I'm VERY grateful it didn't work out, even tho I was upset at the time - if that's any comfort)
