and leave me with an hour or two on my hands, but he didn't.
I seethed a bit and "took it out" by making a menu plan and shopping list and announcing *I* was going to town! My mom's car was ready to be picked up so he needed to go in with me to pick it up. Then he was free to do his stuff while i went shopping. Worked out well.
I got to go shopping alone, which i enjoy, get what i wanted with no one to answer to, and i was "late" home. We had company for dinner but he was grilling burgers and mom got the rest ready. I got home just in time to have a couple of bites and clear the table! 
I still had to put groceries away and that is another chore but i feel stocked up for now. Mom has her car back. I'm ready for potluck and a week's (+) of meals. Hopefully i'll get things right at work tomorrow and slide into the weekend feelin' GOOD!
