Tonight I was reading in Job. Read up through chapter 7. In chapter 1 in the blink of an eye, Job lost everything!!!!! I can think back to 3 days in time when we were in New Mexico and I felt like I had lost everything. Every time the phone rang or the door opened it was devastating news. Job, health etc. Things continued to get worse for Job. In the first 7 chapters of Job my life flashes before me. Job's words were my words. He keeps expressing his anguish and wishing he could just leave the world and all his problems and misery. I truly have been there and done that. I have walked along side of Job!!!!!! Job has been walking with me. I have not been alone in my journey. Someone has gone before me and forded the stream. I think I will continue on in Job this week.

😊. I remember a pastor lamenting all the trials he was going thru getting building permits for a new wing in the church. He started thinking about Job and pictured himself standing next to him in Heaven swapping stories. All of a sudden he got perspective on the "trials" he was dealing with. Lol

(Not saying yours are like his! Just reminded me of the story.)
