It was Peanut's Christmas special! :) I asked her if she noticed when Linus dropped his blanket and she said YES! So happy to live in an area where this can still happen. She told me about it because she was excited that her memory verse was in it! LOL

That's Great! : )

My high school did a Live Last Supper every year for Holy Week - long after it had been made illegal. I *think* they still do it. It SHOULD just be the norm in EVERY school to have programs like that : )

I read somewhere that if the majority of people want to do it, it is ok. I think it was a legal thing. They are afraid of lawsuits, tho', so many won't do it. There's a lot of misunderstanding about the legality of it all.

Sadly, in our country (as evidenced in the Madelyn Murray O'Hair case) if one parent objects, but 250 MILLION want to - they'll still side with the ONE that opposes God.

That's a very good article - thanks for sharing : )

The problem is when an Atheist organization threatens a lawsuit - especially against a poor school district. Even tho they have no Constitutional case, the mere threat of high legal fees to defend the district's rights is often enough to intimidate a district out of doing the right thing.
