Has anyone ever played the game "TELEPHONE" as a kid?
you start by saying a sentence.
Then you wisper that sentence to a person next to you, that person repeats it and so on till it
gets to the last person in the game, who is to repat what they
heard outloud and see if it has changed.
AND It usually does.
This being said,
Anyone, can historically trace ALL monotheistic religions
the a common origin.
Which basically means,
Judaism, Christianity and Islam share the same beginnings.
At that, most likely THE SAME god is being worshiped.
Just as the game of TELEPHONE, names and stories will be changed.
As well, different practices will emerge and develop.
PEOPLE have a way of interpreting things personally,
and in different ways, even after reading the same exact story, 2 different people will take
that same story 2 different ways and then go on to teach it
in the mannor they believe it to be meant.
THIS is how different branches of the religions are formed.
It does not mean 1 is right and the rest are wrong.
It doesn't mean your god is a different one from the
follower of one of these main 3 monotheistic beliefs.
It just means you practice differently than someone else does.
NOW!!!! as for other aspects that people seem to be making a big poop over.
Christian's follow teachings of their main "prophet" Jesus.
Muslim's follow their main "prophet" Muhammad.
Jewish Follow many "prophets" Tanakh include Abraham, Moses, Miriam, Isaiah,
Samuel, Ezekiel, Malachi, and Job.
All of these charactors are in all 3 religious texts, with varying accounts.
I conclude that you are all worshiping the same entity,
with varied worship practices..
Now stop killing for it. If your "prophet"
is teaching you to be a warmonger and to hate, they probably were just another Hitler
pushing to gain followers and expand their kingdom. What they all have in common is believing in 1 almighty creator. That commonality should be celebrated among all of them. Arguing of the NAME or spelling of that creator is just semantics.

Well - Romans 1 says that people who talk this way already know better deep down inside.
