When pastors have alter calls , they do not mention that there is more than asking God to come into your life and be your savior.

"Back in the day", dh and his friends would just stop random people and witness to them. They would talk them into praying the prayer of salvation.

It became a kind of joke with them when they drove by the same area and would see guys fighting or getting loaded - they'd try to be first to say "that's one of YOUR converts".

We are to be "fruit inspectors". By their fruits you will know them. Then there's a dilemma. There are non-Christians, atheists even, that show good fruit like love, compassion, good works.
