Amen to that, and a lot of Christians do not realize that. People think their lives are suppose to be perfect, well , that nothing should happen to them, but unless something does, you cannot grow. You cannot learn to trust God, that he is the one you run to. I have been calm pretty much through all this we are going through right now. That is not me, I should be a basket case, but I turned it over to God and DH. That made me calm and has allowed me to concentrate on other things I need to do and see what God does there also.

It's a journey. We are all growing in our faith, and are at different points on the walk. We don't always know the circumstances of someone's life and heart, and need to extend kindness to all. That's a hard thing for me, but it's been important to learn and keep learning. In our home life, I know this to be true with my kids and husband -- both ways (I need to be kind to them, and I hope for their kindness in return as I stumble along ...).
