Their son has been home from Afghanistan for several months now.
He is at Fort Polk, La
He was sleeping on the couch because he did not want to disturb his wife when he came in from his watch. Someone came inside grabbed him around the neck nearly killed him if his wife had not heard the commotion. They are not sleeping with the door unlocked again on a military base. They have no idea right now who it could be.

Wow, how scary. So glad his wife heard the commotion. Will be praying they catch whomever did this.
