I happened across this today, and it seemed to me to have several helpful insights.

Thought I would share it.

(I once went to Church on Thanksgiving morning, only to hear a sermon on gluttony! I didn't think that was the best timing for such thoughts! Perhaps mid-October is better :) )

One reason I am doing Weigh Down, is to eat only when truly hungry. Not to eat just to eat. And boy did I do that. Everytime I would walk in the kitchen I would eat something. Not anymore.
Thanksgiving is not the time to do a sermon on Gluttony. I bet that went over like a lead balloon.

I loved WDW, Linda, for a time. I was a leader and lost 35 or so pounds on that program. The leader (Gwen) went off a bit theologically, after a time, and I've since discovered a precursor to WDW, with the same message called Thin Within. You could read this to get additional/different perspective from this approach. It's truly the only way, I think, to lose weight for good and keep it off (without limiting/banning entire food groups, which I don't think is necessary).
