Please be in prayer for my uncle, his family, and the surgeons. His leg surgery is tomorrow.
They will amputate well above the knee.

My aunt called and told us that he went through the surgery well and is now in recovery.
Thank you all for the prayers. I know he has a long recovery ahead of him but surviving the surgery was a major concern.
Now he's just got to go through the healing process.
Praise God!

Amazingly he was able to call and talk to my mom a few minutes ago!!!
Imagine her surprise when she answered the phone and it was he who just had major surgery on the line!

I tell you, this man is a fighter and a go-getter.

Wow, that's impressive that he's already talking on the phone! Glad it went well and is looking positive.
