The young lady from church that suffered the Ambiotic Fluid Embolism during childbirth is showing improvement.
Today she woke up from her coma!!!!!
Praise Jesus!
She's awake!

She still has a very long road of recover ahead of her but this is an important step.
She is trying to mouth some words, shows confusion as to where she's at, recognizies her mom, and is asking about the baby!! :D

They ask specificially for prayer for Nicole to not have fear. She's so confused as to what happened and is afraid. They aren't sure exactly how much she understands. They are showing her photos of the baby and of her dd.
This all happened within the last 24 hours so it's a real miracle and we are rejoicing! It's been a month on the 4th since she gave birth and the 4th was also her dh's birthday.

WOW, praise God, indeed!

sadly, yes. Her ex is now filing for custody of their little girl who just turned 7.

Nicole herself is improving daily. She's using more words even telling her dh "You're funny!" she remembers things and is amazing her therapists.
They closed up the trach I don't remember if I told you all that. So she's 100% on her own breathing.
they are trying to get her moved to a rehap place closer to home. She's still in the hospital at this point but a move is imminent.

Why. Why does her ex feel that NOW is the time to do something so heartless? It's like when dd's ex filed for AND RECEIVED custody because she "abandoned" her kids when she was deployed to Qatar. Judges that don't throw these custody suits out when the other parent is going thru special situations are not for the kids, imho. ARGH!
